About the Guardrails text program

Guardrails is a faith-based accountability app. When members opt in, Guardrails sends automated text (SMS) messages such as check-in reminders, group activity notifications, prayer requests, and encouragement. This page describes how we collect your consent and the terms of the program. Consent to receive texts is never required as a condition of creating an account or using the app.

How members opt in

Members provide express written consent by entering their mobile phone number and checking the consent box shown below during sign-up, or by turning on text messages and checking the same box in their profile settings. The box is never pre-checked.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies. You may receive recurring messages such as check-in reminders and group alerts.

Standard rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile phone service plan.

Help & Stop: Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel at any time. You can also turn texts off anytime in your profile.

By providing your phone number and checking the box above, you agree to receive text messages from Guardrails. Consent is not required as a condition of using the app.

Message & data rates. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opting out & help. Reply STOP to any message to cancel at any time; you will receive a confirmation and then no further messages. Reply HELP for help. You can also turn text messages off anytime in your profile settings.

Carrier disclaimer. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.

Privacy. We do not sell or share your phone number or opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Your number is used only to operate the Guardrails text program.
