Guardrails respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to help you stay connected to your accountability group.
If you opt in to text messages, we use your mobile phone number to send automated messages such as check-in reminders, group activity, prayer requests, and encouragement.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by turning off text messages in your profile settings.
We do not sell your personal information. Details you choose to make visible to your group (such as your name, and optionally your email, phone, or city) are shown to members of your group according to your privacy settings. We use trusted service providers only to operate the app (for example, to send email or, if you opt in, text messages).
You can update your profile, adjust what your group can see, opt out of text messages, or request that your account be deleted at any time from within the app.
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls that limit who can view your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to promptly address any issues that arise.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the app. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.
Guardrails is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to withdraw consent to communications. You can exercise most of these rights directly in the app, or by contacting us using the details below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of Guardrails after an update means you accept the revised policy.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your information, contact us at [email protected].
